Pedrera Monastrell
From a family winery dating back to 1916, the very heart of this vineyard is Monastrell – the wines they produce are of consistently great quality. Pedrera Monastrell is ripe, juicy and forward with aromas of crunchy blackcurrant, cherry, plum and a touch of spice. Open and soft, the palate is fruit focussed with more ripe bramble and plum fruit, a hint of spice and mocha – some weight and complexity with a supple, juicy finish. Perfect with pasta, pizza, red meats and casseroles and light enough for a lunch wine.
